Privacy notice.
This site is a brochure site. We keep data processing to the minimum: no advertising trackers, no analytics cookies, no profiles. This notice explains the little that does happen.
1. Who is responsible
Arctiq, Switzerland · hello@arctiq.ch (also for all privacy requests).
2. What we process, and why
Server logs
Our hosting provider records technical access data (IP address, time, requested page, browser type) in server logs to deliver the site and detect abuse. Logs are kept only as long as technically necessary. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.
Waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we process the email address you enter (and anything you add) to contact you about working with Arctiq. The form is processed by our form provider, Web3Forms (web3forms.com), which forwards your entry to our mailbox; we then store it in our own records. We use the address only for this purpose, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Email contact
If you email us, we process your address and message to reply. We keep correspondence as long as an active conversation or legal obligation requires.
Web fonts
This site loads the Manrope and IBM Plex Mono typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser contacts Google’s servers, which see your IP address. Google may process this data outside Switzerland/the EU. If we can, we will move to self-hosted fonts; until then, this notice is the transparency measure.
3. What we do not do
- no advertising or cross-site tracking;
- no analytics cookies. This site sets no cookies of its own;
- no sale or sharing of your data for marketing;
- no automated decision-making about you.
4. Who receives data
Only the service providers needed to run this site: the hosting provider (server logs) and the form provider (waitlist entries). Both act as processors on our instructions. We disclose data beyond that only if the law requires it.
5. Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and the GDPR where it applies, you can ask us for access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data, and object to processing. Write to hello@arctiq.ch. You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
6. Changes
If the site gains new features (for example analytics or a client portal), we will update this notice first and date the change at the top.
