Privacy notice.

Last updated 8 September 2026 · Swiss FADP and GDPR aligned

This is a brochure site. It has no contact form, no login and no shop, so data processing stays close to the minimum. This notice describes the little that does happen.

1. Who is responsible

Arctiq · Moritz Blattner, Zürich, Switzerland. Privacy requests go to moritz@arctiq.ch.

2. Server logs

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc. (USA), which delivers it from edge servers in several countries. Like any web host, Vercel records technical access data — IP address, time of the request, the page requested, browser and operating system — in order to deliver the site and to detect faults and abuse. These logs are kept only as long as that purpose requires. Because Vercel is a US provider, this data may be processed outside Switzerland and the EU. The legal basis is the legitimate interest in operating a secure and functioning website.

3. Email contact

If you write to moritz@arctiq.ch, your address, your message and any attachments are processed in order to answer you. Correspondence is kept for as long as an active conversation or a legal retention obligation requires. Email is carried by our mail provider, Infomaniak Network SA (Switzerland).

4. What this site does not do

  • No cookies. The site sets none of its own.
  • No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising.
  • No third-party requests. Fonts and images are served from this domain, so no external service sees your visit.
  • No profiling and no automated decision-making about you.
  • No sale or sharing of data for marketing purposes.

The footer links to a LinkedIn profile. That is a plain link: nothing is sent to LinkedIn unless you click it and leave this site.

5. Who receives data

Only the providers needed to run the site and the mailbox: the hosting provider named above and the email provider. They act as processors on our instructions. Data goes further than that only where the law requires it.

6. Your rights

Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), and under the GDPR where it applies, you may request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and a copy of it, and you may object to processing. Write to moritz@arctiq.ch. You may also lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), or with your local supervisory authority in the EU.

7. Changes

If the site gains features that process more data — a contact form or analytics, for example — this notice will be updated before they go live, and the date at the top will change with it.
